Novelist, journalist, professor: a
trifecta, a hat trick, a trinity. All about words. The narrator
of my second novel, Eddie And The Cruisers, is called Wordman. And that is
what I call myself. It’s what I am, what I do. I sensed
it in kindergarten, sense it still. Wordman: it could serve as my epitaph. It’s one
thing I knew from the beginning, one answer I had for sure. And
it led to all sorts of interesting questions...
